MATERNITY
Whether it is your first pregnancy or your third, each one is different and should be cherished for its unique beauty. You are growing a human, your body is changing daily, and when that little bundle of joy arrives, you will enjoy being able to look back at the love and anticipation I've captured in your portraits.
Professional portraits are an investment of trust, time, and money. This time before your baby arrives is precious and unable to be replicated. And with that knowledge, I take on the responsibility of capturing your memories.
Each expectant mom is different. And therefore, every session is customized to you. I have a selection of dresses to choose from, and I can recommend clothing vendors to create a unique look for you. I will tailor your session to you, so you are entirely comfortable with my vision of your portraits.
How often do you get a warning signal that your life is about to change forever? These moments usually happen without notice. But your growing belly is irrefutable evidence of your next big event. Don't let this one slip away like the unplanned moments. Any picture can show what your belly looks like - I will capture your inner Goddess and leave you with incredible imagery that perfectly encapsulates this special time in your growing family's journey.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- What is the best time to schedule my maternity portraits?
-
I have found that most mom's prefer to have their portraits before they hit that really uncomfortably big phase. With that in mind it's best to take your portraits between 31-36 weeks. You will have a nice bump but still be able to stand and walk around comfortably.
- Does it cost extra to use the client closet?
-
Not at all! I remember when it was time for my maternity portraits. I rarely wear dresses and I didn't have a single thing in my closet that made me feel beautiful. When I started specializing in maternity, I wanted to make sure that I had something to make every woman feel like the amazing goddess that they are!
- What should my husband wear?
-
Dads to be should wear something smart and stylish. Not all sessions require a suit and tie. Your partner should compliment your dress or outfit. Button down shirts, close fitting sweater and vests look great in portraits. Don't forget to pay attention to his shoes also, dress shoes and boots are best.
