Creative Fee
The creative fee is part of your investment in your memories and artwork. This fee covers artist talent, studio or location, wardrobe advice, and curating a portrait gallery. The creative payment is due at the booking of your portrait session and does not include any portraits. You will choose your photographs at your in-studio or online portrait reveal.
Creative Fee + Collection = Perfection!
There are several choices for how to order your portraits. You can choose a popular collection, create a personalized collection or order a la carte. Why so many options? Because every family is different, and I like to be accommodating. Your memories should be displayed in your home as treasured heirlooms. And I want you to be able to choose precisely what you want and need.
The book below is the investment guide and contains all pertinent information on purchasing your portraits.
TESTIMONIAL
“ A good, professional photographer can create a piece of art that captures an important moment in your life: wedding, maternity, or newborn when an amateur one can ruin it. I advise anyone who would like to remember your important event ten, twenty, or thirty years later, who would look at the picture and smile, remembering the beautiful moment you were in, to hire a professional. Yes, it might cost you a little bit extra, but the memories you will be able to preserve in these pictures will last forever. It will become a legacy that will stay with your kids and grandkids. You will proudly display it in your home and show it to your guests. Do not skimp on your photographer because your important life moment is like a rare gem that a cheap knock-off can not replace. And it will never repeat itself! Make sure you capture it! ”

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- What is the creative fee?
-
The creative fee covers my time and talent during your portrait session, the pre-planning involved in your session, and editing and curating your portrait gallery. The creative fee is due before your portrait session, and this holds your spot on my calendar.
- How long does it take to get my portraits back?
-
Most portrait galleries take 2-3 weeks to edit and curate fully. Peak season (Spring and Fall) extends to 3-4 weeks. Please communicate if you need your portraits back quickly before your portrait session.
- Where do I find packages? And pricing?
-
The investment guide is available here. It contains popular collections (packages), instructions for creating a personalized collection, and a la carte pricing.
- How does Create Your Own Collection work?
-
You receive a discount on additional portrait purchases as a reward for purchasing a large piece of art. First, you will choose your wall art. If your home needs a different size than you see in the guide, don't worry; I can work with you on that. Then you get to choose which digital count works best for your family. And as a bonus, there are discounts on any additional portrait prints and products you would like to add. While I am sure this is all a bit confusing, we will do it together when it is time for you to order. Either on a zoom call or in person. I am here to walk you through each step.
- What if a standard size doesn't work for my house?
-
Custom is my middle name, and it doesn't cost extra. Pricing for wall art is based on the square inch, and my printer can accommodate most sizes.
- What makes your experience unique?
-
My goal is to be your family photographer. I love my legacy clients; I have watched their babies grow into amazing adults. Creating a relationship that grows as your family does, allows me to create the best portraits of your family. I will know how to best interact with your kids, your home and style, and how to help you with your family heirlooms. I know who orders their holiday cards, who needs cards printed early in the season, who likes wall art, and where they want it in their home. This allows me to tailor the photography experience to each family. I love being invited to graduation parties and look forward to my first wedding invite.
