I have owned Life in Portraits for 13 years and have been a successful photographer for over 20 years. I am blessed to be my boss. It's a challenge but a most rewarding one. I have had the pleasure and honor of photographing hundreds of families from birth to graduation. I cherish being a small part of your family's story. Knowing my legacy portraits will long outlive me brings me such joy.
I am a wife, a mom, and an artist. I met my husband over 20 years ago while attending CU Boulder, and together we have been blessed with a clever son in sixth grade. We are fully immersed in the exhilarating world of competitive baseball, dedicating five days a week for nine months a year to games and practices, along with fundraising and sponsorships—the whole shebang. It’s a whirlwind, and it's an incredible journey watching him and his teammates grow! As dog lovers, we adopted our furry friend Archer in 2020. He is an adorable mutt who has blossomed since joining our family. Archer is not only the neighborhood playmate but also the best office companion, reminding us of the joy in every moment.
When I don't have a camera in my hand or I'm not at my desk editing, you'll find me outside savoring the breathtaking beauty of Colorado. My son and I find joy in paddle boarding and kayaking on our serene lakes. Every morning, I dream of riding my bike with my mom, embracing the adventure of the day ahead.
On weekends, I love gathering my family and our pup for invigorating hikes, creating lasting memories in nature. The green thumb I inherited from my maternal grandmother inspires me to grow fruits and vegetables for my family's nourishment. I’m passionate about cultivating flowers that support our local bees, enriching our ecosystem.
Baking sourdough bread has become a delightful new hobby of mine. With my starter, Dumbledough, thriving for two years, I’m excited to explore new recipes and flavors. There’s truly nothing more fulfilling than enjoying baking and eating fresh-baked bread!
