My Photography

I specialize in maternity, newborn, baby, child, and family photography.  Photographing the family evolution is my jam!  Watching your family grow from the beginning is an honor I do not take lightly.  And the relationship built from a shared history is one I will always treasure.  I provide an all-inclusive photography experience. I aim to provide a customized portrait session and hand-picked art for your home and style.  Each step is tailored to fit your family, from the consultation to the portrait presentation.

Children grow up, families move apart, we grow old, and our memories will fade.  Family portraits freeze time to ensure that memory will never be forgotten.

Who I am

I have owned Life in Portraits for 13 years and have been a successful photographer for over 20 years.  I am blessed to be my boss.  It's a challenge but a most rewarding one.  I have had the pleasure and honor of photographing hundreds of families from birth to graduation.  I cherish being a small part of your family's story.  Knowing my legacy portraits will long outlive me brings me such joy.

I am a wife, a mom, and an artist.  I met my husband more than 20 years ago while attending CU Boulder.  We have been blessed with a clever son who is now in fourth grade.  We are knees deep into the world of competitive baseball.  Five days a week, games and practices, fundraising and sponsorships...the whole shebang.  It's overwhelming and exhilarating watching his team grow!  We are dog people and adopted our fur baby Archer in 2020.  He is an adorable mutt who has doubled in size since we brought him home.  He is the neighborhood play friend and the best office companion.

When I don't have a camera in my hand, and I am not at my desk editing, you will find me outside enjoying our beautiful Colorado.  My son and I love paddle boarding and kayaking on our lakes.  If I could, I would ride my bike every morning with my mom.  On the weekends, I love dragging my family and pup on hikes.

I inherited my green thumb from my maternal grandmother.  I love growing fruits and vegetables for my family to eat.  And I am passionate about growing and harvesting flowers for our bees.

My new favorite hobby is baking sourdough bread.  I have had my starter, Dumbledough, for a year and love finding new recipes and flavors.  Fresh-baked bread is the absolute best food!
